The Role:Role
1. This position will report functionally to the Lead Cost Engineer, whilst reporting operationally within the FPSO Delivery Team. Close working relationships with PSCM representatives to ensure contracts are administered effectively.
2. This position will cover several distinct roles:
a. Day-today cost management of the Turret and Mooring System (TMS) cost scope
b. Assistance to FPSO Lead Cost Engineer with updating and maintaining 3rd Party cost reports for Topsides, Hull and TMS scopes of work
c. General support to the Cost Engineers in the Project in Korea such as invoice verification across all budget areas.
Responsibilities
1. Support FPSO Lead Cost Eng and team with preparation and maintenance of all FPSO Cost Control data including commitments, VOWD, forecasting, change control, cost phasing by source currency and invoice verification. The key activity will be managing TMS related cost data.
2. Support the FPSO Lead Cost Eng in the overall delivery of cost engineering services to the project.
3. Participate in contracts and purchase orders cost close out activities
Activities
1. Monthly updating cycle, review inputs with FPSO Lead Cost Eng to:
a. Analyze accounting data, new commitments, update FFCs and VOWD phasing as appropriate
b. Agree cost data to be reported, prior to finalizing of cost reports
Deliverables
1. Input to detailed TMS and 3rd Party cost reports
2. Assist with KCM / BPC input and monthly phasing
3. Assist with Cash calls for TMS and 3rd Party costs
Tools
1. VIM, BPC, SAP reports, finance systems for invoicing and reporting
2. Maximo, PSCM system for Contracts and Purchase orders
Interfaces
1. Interface closely with all the project Cost Engineers to ensure high standard of functional excellence in terms of accuracy and consistency is maintained for all Cost Deliverables.
